Frame Faq

What should I consider when ordering a frame?

When ordering a frame to replace an existing one, it's essential to have information about your current seat post size, seat clamp size, headtube type, bottom bracket type, and dropout size. When purchasing a frame along with new parts, it's crucial to research and ensure compatibility among all the components. If you're unsure about compatibility, don't hesitate to reach out to us via phone or chat, and we'll gladly assist you.

How do I determine the appropriate top tube length for my frame?

The top tube length largely depends on personal preference, but as a general guideline, taller individuals tend to find longer top tubes more comfortable, while shorter individuals often prefer shorter top tubes.

How is the top tube measured on a frame?

The measurement method may vary among manufacturers, but typically, the top tube is measured from the center of the headtube to the center of the seattube, running parallel along the center of the top tube.

What is the smallest gearing I can use on my new frame?

Gearing requirements vary by manufacturer, but as a rule of thumb, if the brake mounts are located on the chainstays, a 36/13T gearing setup is usually the smallest you can use. Some manufacturers offer frames with chainstay mounts that can accommodate a 25/9T gearing setup, but these are relatively rare. If the frame has mounts on the seatstays, you have more flexibility in choosing your gearing.

Can I install a detangler/gyro on my integrated frame?

You can use a detangler on a frame with an integrated headtube only if the frame has gyro tabs on the headtube or if the headtube is drilled to accommodate removable gyro tabs. Lower plates that come with a gyro will not work on a frame with an integrated headtube.

Where can I locate the serial number on my new frame?

Serial number placement may vary by manufacturer, but typically, you can find the serial number in one of three places: on the inside of the rear dropout, on the outside of the rear dropout, or on the bottom of the bottom bracket shell.

What are the different components of a frame?

A frame comprises several key parts, including the headtube, toptube, downtube, seattube, bottom bracket tube, chainstays, seatstays, brake mounts, and dropouts.

Cancel FAQ

How can I cancel my order?

We strive to ship our customers' orders promptly, so there is a limited window in which you can cancel an order. To identify orders eligible for cancellation, please log in to your account and click on the following link:

**My Cancellable Orders**

Alternatively, you can access this information by logging into your account, clicking on the "My Account" tab, and navigating to the "My Orders" section. Click on "View the orders I may cancel," and any cancellable orders will be displayed. To cancel a specific order, select it and click the "Cancel Order" button located at the bottom right. By doing so, you will immediately cancel the order, return the products to your shopping cart, and receive a full refund.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method. If you used a credit card, a refund will be issued (or the transaction will be voided if you cancel the order on the same day it was placed). For Paypal payments, your Paypal account will be refunded, and for store credit payments, your store credit account will be credited. If you combined store credit with another payment method, each will be refunded accordingly.

Please note: If you cancel an order paid with a credit card, your bank or credit card issuer may hold the funds for 1-3 days. These holds are beyond our control. Therefore, if you cancel a large order close to your credit card limit, you might not be able to place a new order until your bank or credit card issuer releases the funds. In such cases, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card issuer to expedite the release of these funds so you can use your card without delays.

How can I make changes to my order?

The most convenient way to make changes to your order is to cancel it online (refer to the instructions above) and then place a new order. Please refrain from sending email requests for order changes, as email responses can take 24-48 hours, and your order may have already been processed by that time.
